ARTIST STATEMENT

I decided to study graphic design because I have always been curious about how it all comes together. It is like a puzzle that I am always trying to complete. Elements such as the concept, color palette, typography, and layout all play a major factor in the final product I like to produce. From ads, to clothing, to social media, to shoes, and finally branding identities, each element helps me create the best possible outcome for any client I work with. I found myself drawn to this field through my ability to be creative. I believe that my roots in vintage clothing, and sneaker design played a large role in getting me where I am today. The feeling of nostalgia seen in vintage graphics allows me to pay homage to the old, while inspiring the next generations to build off of previous ideas. The beauty I see in graphic design is simple, and very similar to any professional sport. I play to compete, and in this field the number one competition is yourself.
